I just uploaded another mega-pack to the Outhouse and FlightSim. This one is a set of ninteen repaints of Putt-Putt's Grumman FF-1.
I posted a few previews in a thread in the forum at the Outhouse.
I did all the paints right after Paul released the model in February of 2003. It's nominally a CFS-2 plane, but it works fine in FS9. It doesn't even lose its prop!
I painted all six section leaders of Fighting Five, the only fleet squadron to fly the FF-1 two-seat fighter, and Scouting Three, the only fleet squadron to fly the SF-1 scout version. The other seven paints represent a variety of Naval Air Reserve units that flew the type, and a hack used by Fighting Six.
I didn't release the paints when I made them because the model's tail struts are untextured, and the bright blue struts looked really clashy against any other tail color. But now, with Martin Wright's MDLmat program, I was able to paint the struts right on the model and make it match the textures. So the package contains models in each of the required colors.
I also included my modified panel, which I think better depicts the plane's enclosed cockpit. It also makes the instruments bigger for tired old eyes like mine.
Since the set includes models, textures and a panel, I threw in the FD files to make a complete package. (Sounds are aliased.)
