Following pic is taken in FS9 with Silverwings textures. I'm getting a horizontal 'join' running across my sky which is always visible if there aren't clouds to cover it. The 'join' isn't totally static - it seems to 'jump' up and down a little bit. Anyone know what it is and/or how to get rid of it?? PS I keep a totally default copy of FS9 on my HD as well as my GW3 and 'working' FS9. Just fired that up and checked in 'Fair Weather' and there's no line. So it's probably a texture problem. Has Bill made a funny one that affects both Silverwings and GW3? Anyone else have a similar problem?

I get that sometimes. I think it's gone since adding the tablefog=1 line to the Fs9.cfg. I say "think" because there are so many variables that it's confusing to say the least. I wonder if the height one has the "visibility" layer set to can have an effect? I have it at 99999' now as part of my quest to eliminate any weirdness in weather

Very interesting - I installed FS Skyworld for the first time and when I played around it looked as though the line had gone although I think I could still see it a bit in some of the set ups.
But I have to say, if anyone hasn't tried FS Skyworld, give it a go. It gives you amazing control over your cloud and sky textures (and some others as well) and some of the clouds I've had even after a short time tinkering have been extraordinary. And very beautiful as well.
Do a google - don't try to get it from Avsim, their 'official' site, because the DL speed there is soooooo slow. There are lots of other places where it can be found which have 10 x the speed at Avsim (literally!)
Lots of people have recommended FS-Skyworld and I just don't know why I've not tried it before
