Mason, Make a folder called favorites and use copy and paste each one into the folder. Then save your folder to a floppy or a cd.

If you are talking Internet Explorer favorites, under the file ment, click on Import/Export and then select Export Favorites. It will save everything in an html file which can be imported when you get set up again.

Whenever I do a reinstall (which is more often than I like to), there are certain things I always save and put into the reinstall. Favorites is one. First thing is to make hidden files and folders visible (which you have to do to see fs9.cfg).
Then if you look in c:\documents and settings\{yourname} you'll see Favorites and My Documents and you can just take copies. You also might want to take a copy of your existing Desktop.
The other thing I always copy over is my address book (for all my email contacts) and that's in c:\documents and settings\{yourname}\application data\microsoft\address book and in that same microsoft folder are your fs folders containing your cfg files (don't want to have to redo all those do you).
I also keep lots of old email messages, so I take copies of all the email folders in c:\documents and settings\{yourname}\local settings\application data\identities\{blah-blah}\microsoft\outlook express. I have a lot of email addresses so I export those to save setting em all up again, but you need to know how to do that.
After you've done your reinstall, just put all your copies back into the same places they came from in the original set up and you're good to go.

I purchased a Western Digital 80 gig USB external hard drive about a year ago that I use ONLY for storage. Works really well..... in fact it was instrumental when I started moving stuff from my old computer to the new. I think I paid about $60 for it on sale at Best Buy.
