Here is a puzzler ... with the DC-6 and 7s .... I can't disengage the heading hold when in auto pilot ... and YES I have set the Flight Director setting to 0 for off. Also I have the Leveler utility that does the same function and it is showing no aircraft need modifying... Any ideas? ? Dale

Hmmmm....Dale, I have tried the default DC6 and have no problems. Also installed the default "Seven Seas" DC-7C and had no problems with that, either.
In both cases, even though the autopilot gauges are different, I could engage/disengage the Heading function without any hassles.
Sorry I haven't been of much help.

That is interesting.
Do you still want me to send the CFG file so you can compare?
Sorry for the delay but it's the way the earth rotates that causes our days to be your nights, and vice-versa! ;D

Hiya Dale - you sure that bird you're flying still has an airworthiness certificate? I'm surprised anything works on it all never mind the autopilot. And penalties are pretty severe you know if the virtual FAA pay you a call
