A long while ago I purchased the FSD Pilatus Porter PC-6 ... In fact I bought it when it was first released in 2003 ... HOWEVER, that was long ago and several hard drive crashes. I cerainly can't find the registration and I wouldn't embarass FSD by asking them to try to remember who I am. HOWEVER, they did release the FS2000 Pro version years ago and I managed to find one website that still has it in their archives (Just downloaded it) -- Now if I recall ... the various paint schemes for the FS2004 version do work ... or can be applied, if I recall. I do believe the ONLY problem with regard to using it in FS2004 will be the imfamous no propeller problem. Does any one know of a why to rectify this? But I will say, the FSD version even for 2000 is an incredible looking aircraft ....

As I expected, the Prop (as with many fs2000 and fs2002 aircraft) does show up ... also a number of the panel gauges don't work ... and unlike the Great FS2004 version.. no VC. With regard to the Panel ... trying to keep the original ... replace the gauges with their counterpart from the Cessna 208 // or repplacing the cockpit front ... and using the other cockpt views in a "modified" Cessna 208 cockpit ... this is a FS2004 texture replacement ... still looks great, I think.

Unfortunately Dale, the old missing prop syndrome isn't fixable, but some aircraft you can fly because they're so nice even if a few bits are missing.

This is true ... like the C206 amphib ... fs2002 model. One thing, though is a gauge issue ... where it first ... when I fire it up..the siimulator the is the fssound.dll message ... then it says certain gauges - third party ones are an issue.. I ownder, do they stem off the old fssound.dll line needing to be added to the .config listing??? Also ... I forgot how to do that ... could you or someone re-explain it ... for I amsure the umteenth time

Dale, just add this to your Fs9.cfg (or GW3.cfg)
[OldModules] Fssound.dll=1
Cheers,
Roger.
