We have no information about avsim, sorry.
Regarding the pictures, if you installed according to directions you should have a folder in Flight Simulator 9 called Custom Classics Extras. THAT is the folder where you should open the htm file and you should see the pictures if you have not deleted them. If you have done a manual install, I can't have any idea what you may have done with any of the files so I can't help much

Hi
Avisim is alive and well for the time being ;-)
Regarding you "red-crosses" Are you sure you've unzipped the files into the same loacation before viewing? It you open a htm-file from within the zip file winzip (or whatever program you use) cant solve the references to the picturefiles needed. If yopu un-pack the files into the same location, the readme.htm will have no troubles finding the pictures, and thus no red-cross anymore ;-)
Hopes this helps.

:'(I'm having the same trouble with AVsim. I can't download anything from their site. I have tried to shut off blockers and allowed their webpages to be accepted on my server, which is sbcglobal.net (Yahoo). I use Download Acc. Plus, and now they tell me that I can't use a download program, so how do we get the files? It used to work with DAP, but not now. I just wish Golden Wings had all the stuff on a downloadable site.
