The support forum moderators will do all they can to help with members problems that arise from Custom Classics installations where possible. However let us also remember that Custom classics were always a little experimental and often leading edge compared to their peers. This is why I bought every Custom Classic offered. Sometimes a little help was needed and e.mails were always answered. I still use an outdated OS: Win98se but managed to run every Classic I bought. Now they are free we can all enjoy these packages (for that is what they all are; never just a plane and that's it) and some people with some systems may suffer from the occasional problem.
I found that every Custom Classic offering was best value even when it cost $12.50; I bought them as soon as someone gave a 'heads up' in one of the forums. Now they are free, please respect the love and care that went into them all and if you don't like them, you've lost nothing, just delete them.

Now they are free, please respect the love and care that went into them all Roger I "discovered" Custom Classics very recently; that is my failing that I regret because I could have been enjoying them for a longer time. When I recently downloaded Classic Hawaii, I was so impressed, I reformatted my entire system so as to pull out all the terrain, Roads, AI...everything, so that Hawaii was clean to install your program over it. I'm 55 years old and was born in Hawaii. My parents ran inter-island mail with Andrew Flying service and my Dad retired from United after spending 35 years at HNL...and that was 20 years ago. Nothing makes me happier now than to fly again in old Hawaii with the old AM broadcasts coming from the radio. Please know that every day I re-live the love you all put into your creations. As we say in the Islands, Mahalo and Aloha, Bobby

Just my 2 cents...
I've bought various Custom Classics and also downloaded others when Billl released them as freeware . I think Bill Lyons is "one of a kind". His ability to capture what appears to be overall reality in his creations is amazing. It's not just the airplane, rather it's the entire package (plane, flights, sounds, music and fun stuff) which give us the strong sensation of really being there flying. The fact that he released his creations as freeware adds to his "one of a kind" character.
I look forward to purchasing new Custom Classics to fly around GW3 world.
Thank you Bill!
PS: GW3 is fantastic!

Well, I just downloaded Golden Hawaii. One I didn't buy (deep shame). I could ask some Qs, but I need to work with it some more and see if I can work out the confusions I have. That's the thing, with Bill's stuff it's usually my confusion. I wish you could switch the copilot with a stewardess (deep sadness). I'll be back on the right thread later. Hi Roger. Thanks Bill, good to see you back.
