Dale posted this question under the FAQ header and since nobody ever reads the FAQ I am moving it out here in hopes someone can answer. I'd like that feature myself
Dale's Question-------------------------------------------
Tom, I have a question... more a general question... but perhaps, it might be of interest to others... regarding in-flight music.. if you will....
A question of how ... or perhaps is there a way.... hey, it is only 7am ... so thinking is fuzzy ... but then again, I am old... and thinking is Always fuzzy.
I think there is a "CD/Player" gauage out there ... is there a method of creating ... or utilizing something simular for a panel that would allow you to "play" a radio in the cockpit, through the panel? As we well, know there are a ton of internet radio stations out there ... and as I mentioned in a post on another part of this forum... a slug of OLD RADIO ... I have a number of audio programs ... but tend to use Winamp the most ... it has a nifty little player - for lack of a better word that stays at the forefront of ANY THING you are currently running (on your monitor) unless you minimize it ... EXCEPT for Flightsim, running on full screen.
Now the fuzzy question... is there a way to present that program... whether as a special guage that would "mirror" winamp (provided you have it running ... or a way to simply bring winamp's little stereo to the forefront on your panel while in full screen mode, while you are flying so you can control it in flight, without having to minimize the flight screen every time you want to adjust volumn or "change" radio stations???
