Sorry for posting this question here but everytime I go to GW3 support forum the system kicks me out. After logging in five times I gave up and came here.
Anyway, I have a question re installing GW3. I dont understand the last instruction about dragging a copy of the fs9.cfg into the macromedia file renaming it and dragging it back to the fs9 file. What macromedia file? I dont have one anywhere on my computer. ???Is it possible that this is refering to the Golden Wings Macro file? But that doesnt make any sense either. Everything else seems to have installed ok. It is a clean install on a new machine dedicated to GW3 with XP os.
Thanks in advance for any guidance. Harry

If you have the Flash viewer installed, you'll have a Macromedia folder. I think he just used it as a convenience. Basically, you have to copy 'fs9.cfg' to another location, rename it and put the renamed version back in the Microsoft folder alongside your original 'fs9.cfg'. It does work - even I was able to do it!

Myles has it right. Any folder will do. On both Bill's and mine, there's a macromedia folder right above the Microsoft
I've just looked at all the settings and I have no idea why you are getting kicked out of GW Support.

The simplest solutions are always the best! The computer is so new that I hadnt installed Flash or much else yet. I built it myself (with the help of a friend at NVidia) just for FS9. Major top end mother board with newest graphics card...400GB HD's (WD Raptor and Caviar) 2ghz cpu etc etc... All working just fine now. Thanks everyone for all the help. Now into the way-back machine for some wind in the face flying. Harry
