First of all, AMAZING JOB. This is a total blast from the past and does the most amazing job of capturing the golden age of not only air travel, but Hawaii as well.
Ok so now im going to be kinda dumb and ask some questions which may have already been answered, so bear with me here.
1. On the picnic flight, which spit of land is the little hut at?
2. On the autogyro practice flight, where is the Aloha Gazette building?
3. Where is diamond head (sorry my family and i always go to the big island; we've only passed through Honolulu airport!)
4. Where exactly is the carrier? (general direction is ok too)
Thank you and keep up the amazing work! If you find a time machine, send it to me so i can exprience this scenery for real!

Telling you everything would spoil the fun. The carrier is off shore about a 170 degree heading from John Rogers Field Diamond Head is approx at a 60 degree heading from the carrier. Now imagine a triangle and follow the shore back to John Rogers and if you are sharp eyed, you may see the hut
The Aloha Gazette is in a fictional location in Honolulu. I can't remember exactly but its Northeast of the airport and has a big yellow AG on the roof

Thanks! I just saw the carrier while i was flying the Kauai flight.
I was also wondering if there is a virtual airline for Inter-Island Airways of Hawaii.
Thanks and once again a job well done! (I know, Im a total suck-up)

nice touch with the periscope following the carrier. Yikes to us if the Japanese or the Nazis were pulling that on us during WWII!

Of course! it adds to the realism in a most awesome way. I disabled project AI aloha and hawaiian because they still liked to show up sometimes. And its fun to fly at night and follow lights!
Little interesting tidbit: Your scenery/plane is the only high-quality scenery and plane that has given me good frame rates. In fact, before this i had never gotten more than 20 FPS!

nice touch with the periscope following the carrier. Yikes to us if the Japanese or the Nazis were pulling that on us during WWII! The periscope and the low flying Zero are animations but in the Goose package and after, just about anything that moves is AI In the Challenger pack Bill made some AI Eagles

cool! I just downloaded your goose and I'll try it tomorrow. Grumman geese are really nostalgic in my hometown because they were the airborne link to the outside world for a long time. The town's airport was too small. Now its got over 10 flights a day on big 737s. Any chance of Ellis Coastal coming up in repaints? ;D

There are painters here and Heather Sherman made a bare metal base. If you have a good picture you could post a request in the painters and builders forum

Cool i think I'll do that. the goose is a great plane by the way, and I must say I was spooked by the ghosts on Castaway Cay! That was an awesome bit of programming. Thanks also for creating AI water traffic. It gets kinda old seeing C208 Amphibians doing inland travels.
