Hi all-
First want to thank everyone, especially the Lyons', for what has been given to all of us .... THANKS !!
My problem is that Roosevelt Field doesn't come up in the airport menu & doesn't show up on Long Island.
Any suggestions ??
Thanks from a newbie to the forum.

Someone will have to build Roosevelt Field for GW or I believe there is a download for it somewhere... Bill

Check "Look in addon scenery" (or something to that effect) in the airport dialog.

I pulled it off Flight Sim awhile back, the filename was rvelt.zip. I also pulled one off AvSim called rveltga.zip. As Bill pointed out FS9 and GW3 did not have Roosevelt Field. When you started the Spirit of St Louis flight the description even noted that the field did not exist in FS9 and they were using the closest alternative default field they had. Try looking for one of these and see what you think. The first one I got in Oct 2004 and the second in November 2004.

;D Actually there are 3 seperate downloads for Roosevelt Field at www.biplaneflyer.co.uk. I have them, but only installed one so far. It shows up in the Sims Search AddOn Scenery. Cheers Splash

After I posted the earlier reply I finally installed the rveltga.zip file and went through the notes. Yes there are three files as I see. I have the first and third. I need to find the second. Since there are no flights configured for it the easiest way to get to one is go to Create a Flight and select Add-on scenery. Select your choice of Lindberg's 1927 flight location (the first version), or the Golden Age location (the third version). Once selected you will get a choice of starting points on the fields.
Happy Flying!

This is another airfield scenery that could be modified quickly with the inclusion of appropriate AFCAD's and AI to make a really good GW3 scenery! Anyone want the job?

Hi all-
Thanks to everyone for the answers - looked in addon scenery, and there we go!
By the way, does anyone remember the Mirror Model Flying Meet at the Grumman field nearby? Circa early 40's with lots of mini-airplanes flying around - free flight, control line, and even RC! - now there's a challenge - for some mini-AI flying around Long Island!
BTW Bill - never thanked you for trusting me some years ago to send you cash for the Golden Hawaii & Goose downloads! --- and Thanks for GW3 and all your other planes, scenery, and flights.
