I jsut downloaded the Luscombe 8A. I must say, its great, however, i cant stand not having a 2d panel. I've been looking for one, but cant seem to find one. If one of you would know where i could get one, or if someone could make one (i dont know how difficult that is), that would be fantastic. I have a lot of Custom Classics aircraft, scenery, etc. and I LOVE IT! Thanks.

The Luscombe was made to be flown from the Virtual Cockpit. There is no 2D panel. I don't know where you might find one, but perhaps someone else will have an idea.

Would a 2D that looks like this be OK?? I am not done with it yet, and it is my first ever panel, so don't get too excited!!

yes, that would be great. a couple ideas, though. get rid of the mag switch, as the aircraft already has one (the magnetos with the left and right switches), other than that, looks great! Thanx a lot, i hope to be able to use it soon.

One tiny suggestion for Kimber's panel, try installing an airspeed indicator with the top end at around 145-160 mph. It's easier to see the target airspeed on approach. (My analog Luscombe 8E asi tops out at 160.) jim

Everything works just like it did!! I included a generic panel also!! That is why I wanted to use only default gauges!!

when i downloaded, i didnt get the working guages on the panel, just the background of nonworking guages. I didnt put the thumbs.db from the page with the readme into any fs file, maybe that's why.

Do you have all the default gauges in the main gauges folder?

i fixed it, and I like it better. I changed the default gauges to the luscombe gauges and moved them to match the bitmap. I would suggest replacing window00 with this: [Window00] file=panel.bmp size_mm=1024,768 window_size_ratio=1.000 position=7 visible=1 ident=Main_Panel
gauge00=luscxml!starter, 500,600,75,75 gauge01=luscxml!asi, 595,620,80, 80 gauge02=luscxml!turn, 650,525,80,80 gauge03=luscxml!altimeter, 900,610,80,80 gauge04=luscxml!rpm, 699,602,80,80 gauge05=luscxml!vsi, 860,520,80,80 gauge06=luscxml!compass, 760,525,80,80 gauge07=luscxml!oil, 802,615,80,80

You needed to move the Vega and Spirit of ST.Louis CAB files to the main gauge folder!!
I will try yours, I couldn't get any of the Luscombe gauges to show at all!! Just big squares??
