To Bill and Lynn, and Tom, We will miss you all. Thanks for all the great scenery and especially the aircraft with all the bells and whistles. (Gee, I hope I spelled that right). You have made this great hobby much more realistic and touched the hearts and minds of all who love flight, planes and the wish to be free of the bonds of earth. I thank you for your great contributions in making my flight sim experience something to look forward to every time I can flight sim. God Bless You, and return soon. Good luck with all things in your life. See you on a runway or in the sky sometime. John Skokan

Oh, home improvements time. Have fun and don't inhale too many paint fumes. Now you guys get to reverse your roles and be GW3 spectators and enjoy everyone else's work when you get a break from those home improvements. Besides, China Clippers weren't built in a day and we have this way cool Graf Zeppelin to keep us busy with. I haven't any doubt Tom will test drive all the latest add-ons when you can't and let you know how much fun they are. Cya around.

We will of course miss that rush of seeing a new Lyons creation appear. But we would have to be selfish indeed to begrudge you some time for yourselves. The very best in whatever you do.

I can't really add anything to what's already been said, except my best wishes to all three of you, and looking forward to your return, even if it is only to say hi, occasionally.

Dear Lynn, Bill and Tom;
You three are fixtures in the flightsim world and will be missed so much until you get back. Bill and Tom, you two have always been the "rescuers" when I needed help, even when The Old Hangar and Golden Wings were first started. You two got me started in designing scenery and have helped me for years. I will definitely miss you while you are gone, and I wish you the very best in your semi-retirement and hope you return soon.
All my best,
Del Hopkins

Thanks Bill, Like Frosty the Snowman maybe I'll be back again some day There comes a time when it is best to move on and that time has come for us. We would like to thank Tom for his generosity in letting us bunk in here for a while and also for all his help in answering folk's questions. We have several real world projects to keep us busy for some time but maybe after that we may try our hand at flightsim again. For now the fun has certainly gone out of Golden Wings for us so we must bid adieu and hope that you also have a very good New Year! Best wishes, Bill

I do not frequent or contribute many postings on this forum, but I read with regret your decision(s) to "rest" for a while. I wish you the very best, and offer sincere thanks for all your effort put forth in this great game. I have enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy the contributions you have given me. All the best, SD

. . . very sad news indeed! I had thought it was going to be a short TDY Bill and Lynn, but seems it will be a lot longer. Guess you gotta do what you gotta do - - Tom is right - you have been a driving force in this arena for many years and this force will be missed!! Your excellent craftsmanship and detailed innovation with your planes has always been very much admired and appreciated and will continue to be as your planes are being enjoyed by someone, somewhere everyday - around the world. The ' best' in return to you both and may the "force be with you"Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue!
