I have downloaded Bill's Apache (free version) and installed it. I don't know if I have a graphics card problem or a missing texture file. When I select and load the aircraft, I have a big white rectangle, on both sides of the fuselage. I am guessing that it is for adding a custom tail number. I have looked at the texture files and can not find anything to change. Has anyone else had this problem? I just love all of Bill,s aircraft.

Its normal for the white rectangle to show on the selection screen but it should not show after loading. The N-Number is a gauge in the VC so messing with the panel.cfg can cause the rectangle to appear

Thanks Tom! The panel was causing the problem, and I now have it corrected. My tired old eyes don't work as well as they once did. I have a problem reading the dial gauges, on most of the so-called "realistic" panels. The author tries to put too many gauges on them, to suit me, so I usually replace the panel with one of mine. I learned to use XML to program "digital" gauges and I have now replaced 95% of the dial gauges with digital versions. Here is a screenshot of my new Apache panel. The picture is blurred, but it is clear enough to make it readable. I still have to fine tune a few items. home.comcast.net/~flt-simmer/apache_panel.jpgNow I will go flying!!!
