Repaint Question on the Goose

I've been repainting the Goose and have a quick question.



I've been using the incredible metal masters by Heather Sherman. I'm having a small issue with the propeller/spinner. I think (through trial and error) that they are on the same blotch of g211.bmp. (see immediately below)



What I am trying to do is color the spinner gold and leave the prop itself silver. I may repaint the prop black.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Chris, I'm afraid I can't help with your question, but once you get it sorted out (as I'm sure you will sooner or later), I really hope you make that repaint publicly available.

The Goose is absolutely my favourite FS2004 aircraft, and one of my hobbies is collecting nice repaints to it (more than 30 so far...)

Here's the latest. I haven't totally given up, but after seeing this, I'm a little more educated, but still not sure about whether or not this can work.


I did this to map out the textures and how they fit.


This is what came out. I think it might work if I'm careful/lucky.


Then I noticed these......


This is where it stands with a little work. I'll keep plugging away and see what happens.
