I have been flying Bill and Lynns Luscombe, and I really enjoy going "slow". I figured out how to use the GPS but, I cannot find the AIRPRTS.TXT that is mentioned in the Luscombe READ-ME. (Yes... some of us really do read them ) Anyway... maybe I missed something?? or was it ever included? Altough, it will work with out it; The AIRPRTS.TXT would really help rather than looking at the map, and then trying to find the correct city... etc. I believe that this GPS is also in another of Bill's aircraft, but I can't recall which one now. Thanks! Jim

Tom, I did look in there earlier, but, knowing my mind isn't what it used to be... and so, I looked again thinking maybe I missed it. But, Nope, it's just not in there... I even installed the Luscombe again to a "fake" folder, and it does not contain the AIRPRTS.TXT at all.
The other aircraft that has that same GPS is the Piper PA22. Also not included with the aircraft. I also "installed" this to a fake folder and... Not there. Both of these aircraft have been downloaded in the last week. I think I got the PA22 (cc13p22f.zip) from Flightsim.com, and the Luscombe (cc12lusf.zip)... maybe Avsim.com... OR Flightsim.com Is this "email-able"?? OR is it a HUGE file to big to send?
Thanks again!
Jim

Maybe it's missing from the freeware version. I'll send you a copy of my airprts.txt in a PM.
