Hi dilbert, Never had that problem, nor have I heard of anyone else with the same problem. Any more info you can give us might help.

Hi Roger, If I fly any goose in it's own adventures or from any other location the sound goes off when I switch to tower view. The sound does not return until I close fs9 and re-start. Cheers, dilbert

The sound is supposed to go off when viewing from tower view because it's distant. But it should come back automaticaly when switched to any other view. I've never had any problem with it not coming back. The Q key toggles sound. Try that. Also make sure the radio is turned off as it has known issues with causing crashes in some older machines.

I have the radio switch off,the Q switch is sound on,but the sound stops as I have described. All other aircraft work correctly. Cheers, Dilbert .

Hello everybody, yes I have simular sound problems with this and other add on aircraft, except my sound goes to a high pitch screech when I change views. Sometimes I can get it to come back by changing views again. Usually I just replace the sound folder with another aircraft with simular engines. Not sure why it does this but Im thinking its my computer and not FS9 or GW3.

Hey thats EXACTLY what happens for me too! Especially the piper cub and the apache! I get these noises when I go on the inside view though. The noise is like a really annoying high pitch screaming or something similar lol. I have read that it could be a problem with the sound card compatibility but I don't know if that is relevant to Lyon's aircraft.

It seems I dodged a bullet here. My problem was that whenever I started FS9/GW3 with an airplane that aliased it sound from another ship, I had no sound at all. I solved the problem by opening every sound folder for every airplane, and if the sound was aliased, copying the source plane's sound folder to the new plane. I think Bill Lyons' planes all have their own sound packages, so this probably will not help you with your problem, but you might take a look at it.
