Later today I will be posting a download link for the Graf. Bill has graciously allowed us to host it as an exclusive freeware gift to The Old Hangar members. Please don't post this anywhere else, I only have about 11 gigabytes of bandwidth left for the month. When that's gone, we're closed.

That sounds great! Thanks Bill, and also Thanks Tom! Just what do you mean by... 11gig bandwidth? Will they come back in April? Does bandwidth get used up everytime someone makes a download? I am not "savey" to that type of talk. Jim (Posting this after I downloaded the Zep) I had planned on regressing Lakehurst NJ. BUT there is NO WAY I could even come close to that Unbelieveable achievment Bill Lyons did. THANK-YOU SO MUCH!!

Wow! What an amazing gesture. I've seen more than a few posts on other forums where people have asked how they can purchase the Graf. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the word doesn't get out about Bill's very generous gift. If word does slip out onto the rest of the flightsim world...I'll see ya'll in April. ;D Brian

....Just what do you mean by... 11gig bandwidth? Will they come back in April? ... It's usually a periodical allowance and the container refills at the start of each such period. Per month is the norm. Bruce

Sorry for the delay folks. The computer I use to ftp and manage the websites was being moody. Its up and ready now. www.theoldhangar.com/temporarily suspended Please please please don't post the link anywhere. I have enough bandwidth for 350 downloads between now and April 1. I'd rather see our members get the first chance

One last thought... Be very sure to read the Grafread.htm 4-5 times. The Graf is very different, and since LTA is not supported in FS9, Bill had to work magic. Your successful enjoyment of the Graf depends on you learning how to operate it. Note also that there is a great deal of scenery included but other than the included flights, no list of those fields. However, they are a great add-on to Golden Wings and include Lakehurst, NJ, Mines Field in Los Angeles, Friedrichshaven in Germany, Rio de Janiero in South America and perhaps some others Known problems: Sometimes when loading flights, the Graf will go end up. This apparently has something to do with the condition of the aircraft that was previously loaded and there is no fix. I had reasonably good results (though not always) by loading the Friedrichshafen Shed flight and then switching to the one I wanted. Please help each other with other problems as Bill & I won't be around much.

One last thought... Be very sure to read the Grafread.htm 4-5 times. ... I've done just that....several times more, in fact, whilst I have GW3 running so that I can flip between the html instructions and the sim. One comment on the historical preamble that heads the instructions: nowhere can I find any reference to the year in which the globe-encircling flight took place! Bill must've overlooked this bit of info but I have since discovered the following.......... .....logging over a million miles of passenger service including an around-the-world flight in 1929. The first flight of the Graf Zeppelin was September 18, 1928 and was piloted by Hugo Eckner.Bruce

My old dream is coming reality! I can't believe this!
I was with my credit card ready when the Graf dissapeared.
Thanks Bill and Lynn! I know you are both still present around here!
