i am working on high-res models of LZ127 and LZ129 für FS2004 but encountered serious trouble to create a good flight dynamics. as far as i have found out now, FS doesnt support "lighter-than-air" FDE´s. Yesterday i found the wonderful "Graf" on the Golden Age page and i would like to ask who was the creator of the FDE and perhaps if i could get his email adress?

Hi tom, that's a beautifull ship you are doing! the authors of the Graf Zeppelin are Lynn and Bill Lyons; you may want to check it out to see what they did at www.goldenwings.info. You can download the Golden Wings addon from there too, another present from the Lyons to the FS community.
I think that looking at their work will help you. I don't know their email, but, if you are patient, I'm sure they came here from time to time, and who knows, may help you with the flight dinamics.

Your Hindenburg looks good. The FDE for the Graf is a bit of witchcraft by Bill Lyons who has retired from developing for Flight Sim and limits his computer use strictly. He does not release his e-mail address anymore. Send him a PM here and be patient. He checks in now and then but not often.
the Hindy model is finaly finished. i had encountered a very serious problem with blurred scenery textures which took me almost a year to fix. i also reduced the polycound from 56000 to 36000 which makes the model much more flyable. ive asked bill lyons for a permission to use his wonderful LZ127 FDE for the release. so stay tuned, the project isnt forgotten..
Amazing Craig,,,thanks. I am using Fs9 so just the Hindenburg and Graf will do for me..I love the flight dynamics. Some questions: Where the flying surfaces animated for you? Can we get them animated? The Graf had black prop disc but the Hindenburg's props looked ok. Can the eyepoint in VC be moved into the proper place inside the control gondola? And can we work out some inside virtual places or areas?
I am impressed by your work and hope you continue to refine these great models,,the best so far for these examples.
