Some time ago I repainted Anders Jermstad's Goodyear Blimp. (It was released for FS2002 but works in FS9.)
I did US Navy and US Coast Guard liveries for the late 1940s/early 1950s, and a pre-WW2 US Navy livery that would fit perfectly into GW.
I didn't release them when I painted them, but now GW has given me the incentive to package them up and post them.
Here's the rub. In his documentation Jens asks that we ask his permission before releasing any repaints. Well, I wrote to him three weeks ago and still haven't heard back from him.
This is what he says in his documentation: "I normally grant requests for repaints…just ask first!"Well, I did ask...
Is three weeks long enough to wait for a reply? Should I keep waiting or release?[/b][/color]

I'd think that having made a request and having waited several weeks for a reply then I risk an upload, but with that information included in the readme.

Thanks for your thoughts Roger,
I guess his lack of response indicates a lack of concern.
I'm sure he got my e-mail, because if not I would've gotten a bounce message, and I didn't. My subject line was "Your Goodyear Blimp," and that doesn't seem like something that would get caught in a spam filter.
Methinks Jens may have lost interest in FlightSimming. I went to his website and it had some preview pics of his "upcoming" F-82 Twin Mustang - for FS2002. It looks like he hasn't touched the site since before FS9 came out.
I guess I'll give him a little longer. Like however much longer it takes me to write the ReadMe and take some screenies and package up the paints. Right now I'm a little burnt out from writing up and packaging the SBC and FF packs. Maybe later in the week...
