I've got EOD and I know it must work because I've seen objects made with it. If only I could find out how to operate it. The instructions are entirely useless; they go into great detail about all sorts of things but then when you get to the part about how to make your first object, it just says, "Make the object," which is not very bloody helpful.
I've got a sort of basic tutorial that somebody wrote up that tells you how to do the textures and so on but still it just says to "create a cube" without saying how.
And I can't figure out anything just looking at it. It's got all these little tiny hieroglyphic-looking icons, too small to see what they're supposed to be. None of the menus has anything that takes me anywhere.
If you own EOD and know how to use it, you would be doing the world a great service if you could write up a simple set of instructions: 1, 2, 3, do this, then do that, now do the other. Many of us would rise and call you blessed.
Meanwhile good luck with the peeps. If you can create the basic api surely some of us can develop some textures. (I say "some of us" rhetorically; I'm so swamped right now with the new version of North Beach I can't even think about anything else.)

I have just downloaded it last week. It looks kind of simple but is hard to understand since I'm very green with design tools. At the website of EOD, there is a set of replacement buttons that you can install. I downloaded them but I haven't installed them because after I opened it and looked at them, I decided I liked the older style better. The old style are black stick shapes of the object, and the new ones were blue textured shapes of the objects. The blue ones were harder for me to see as they were smaller. Another way to find out what the objects are in the left console is to hover your cursor over each symbol and tag pops up identifying it.

Hi Ere is a link to a VERY basic ppl macro's members.optusnet.com.au/~au_mav/wozza.zipthere are 3 api's which are maped to 3 sections of a single bmp,If you make mutilple copys of the bmp changing the ppl images in each of them then rename them ,then open the api's in notepad and change the bmp name in each api then rename the api's as well. That way you can genrate as many api's as you like. The bmp needs to be saved in a dxt1 with an alpha channel so the black section is invisable in fs Cheers Wozza
