Im trying to make the wheel pants on a cessna 206 transparent. I did what you should: made an Alpha template and painted the wheel pants black, then the rest white, but It just made the wheel pants shiny. Any Ideas?

Hi Im affraid if a parts been tagged for reflective then transperent wont work,as you have found it just ends up looking like a mirror.You need to change the texture mapping at the source file or the material.There are a few 3rd party utils out there that may help have a look here www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=10066maybe Martin Wrights program may allow you to set the wheel pants to a transperent material Wozza |
