Roger, I've thought about uploading it, but I'm not sure how to address the different mdl file. In order to use this repaint, a new mdl file needs to replace the original, which will strip the textures off the left side of the rudder and upper wing of every other livery, unless the user has the resources to correct the problem. With all of the repaints for the Camel that are probably out there, I'm thinking that it would cause headaches. Ummm, re-checkout the file I sent you. You can do it the way it was set up, which preserves all previous models and textures. Just replace my ( unexciting) repaint, with yours and edit the descriptions as required.

Sorry about the delay guys. I've got it just about ready. Can anyone give me a quick tutorial on the legal issues for uploading a repaint? Do I have to have specific written permission from Dave Eckert?

Well, the best to do is ask for permission via email. I always do it, remember that we painters are working on other people's creations. (Dave has his ideas, so you better ask him saying the places where you'd like to upload, there are a few sites that he doesn't like to see his work and repaints to be there...), and if he allows you to include the modified mdl. For the rest, remember to include the name of the original plane (the zip).
I haven't found yet the guy who denies his permission. In only one case, one guy made me wait for more than 3 monthes for his ok...but I had already cancelled all my templates by then. ;D

My repaint has been uploaded to flightsim.com. You can get there quick by clicking the following link: www.flightsim.com/login.htmthe file name is: "oracamel.zip", or you can find it by searching the file library using the obvious search terms: "sopwith" or "rhinebeck". If you don't already have it, I highly recommend the 160 Gnome sound file available at the Combat Flight Center website. That file can be found at this address: www.combatfs.com/downloads/latest.php?FileID=4812This is the same engine that powered Cole's Camel and makes the experience in FS9 much more accurate. Enjoy! and thanks to all who helped me on this thread. Jonathan Fallon
