2006 is gone. It was a good year for the FS community. So many new models, and so many people into 3d design, painting, and creating all sort of addons, since flights adventures, effects, and sounds; exchanging experiences. Without them, our hobby wouldn't be the same.
It was the year of FSX too, and we all have something to say about this new sim, for some of us quickly forgotten; for others the future already here. Your choice...whatever will be will be.
For me it was a good year, not very "prolific", but reasonably interesting: the number of repaints was not so huge as in the past, but I spent more time learning new techniques and developping others that were already seeded. I'll go on this way this year, daily work, family, dogs, weather, and health allowing. lol.
I hope 2007 (yeeah! seven is my lucky number) will bring more healthy curiosity in our souls so we can go on developping and enjoying Bill Lyons's Golden Wings 3. Yep, that will be one of my many wishes for tonight, when looking out the window the fireworks.
And that many other people will be interested to enter into our community, by learning to paint. Oh yes, I want an army of painters here!
Thanks to those who come this little subforum, to those who posted and those who read. I think the interest is what counts.
Happy New Year to all!

To quote a phrase - "It was a very good year...." We gained some new friends and also lost a few old friends, but that is the way life goes around. Everyone have a Happy and Safe New Year's Eve and may the coming year be the best yet! Later, Fred Z.
