It's funny, but I don't fly them...only paint them. Well, only short trips of about 40\45 minutes: I get a little nervous if there are not superchargers to activate up to FL15.... ;D David Maltby's planes are the only tubes I fly on more or less, regular periods. I've always wanted to paint the Austral planes, but I never had the enough documentation ini my hands...untill a few monthes ago. A guy sent me some exclusive videos of the BAC1-11 taking off and landing on Buenos Aires, and a few good pics and links, so I had no more excuses. This is more a personal project, mainly "sentimental" because I learned to walk under the shadows of Austral's BAC1-11s wings (no kidding here). And, I could not resist to revisite the Seventies...when all the furniture was in plastic, we wore "elephant legs" trousers and long hairs, and...started to listen Rolling Stones, The Ramones, Queen alnd looking at the blondies girls of ABBA. Oh well, not so bad after all! if not, look at this colors, the ones the airline beared during the period 1971\1974; the next release of "Project Austral".
