Yes, please, if you don't mind doing a (GASP! SHOCK! HORROR!).......jet! I'd really like to see the Ansett and MacRobertson Miller Airlines liveries done for the Project Fokker F-28 Friendship. It's such an excellent model. No problem at all if this is of no interest to you. Bruce

I have had my eye on that one for awhile and may do it later but right now I would like to try something different, like Bruce's Fokker F-28. jogger

Here are some pics I found on airliners.net, is this what you had in mind? And which model of the Fokker f-28? Looks like there are three, the 1000, 4000 and 6000. And what is the siginificance of Friendship? As you can tell I know nothing about Fokker jets. Do you have any pictures? www.airliners.net/search/photo.search?airlinesearch=MacRobertson%20Miller%20Airlines%20-%20MMA&distinct_entry=true jogger PS looks like ariliners.net has a nice picture of a DC-3 for that airline.

Those Australian liveries do look good on the F28! I never realized they were so popular down under. BTW, the name "Friendship" was applied to Fokker's F27 turboprop series. The F28 jets were marketed under the name "Fellowship".

Sorry....I mixed the names up. As Wayne corrected, the F-27 was the "Friendship" and the F-28 the "Fellowship". It's the 4000 model that needs the liveries and they are the ones I'm thinking of, although Ansett's aircraft actually sported several different types: the 'Big A' red & white and then their later 'Southern Cross' livery, which itself had an early and later version, and then their "Ansett Express" livery. I think I have some pix here in a couple of books and I also have a source of photos available from a mate of mine. Let me see what I can get for you and I'll pop a note back in here. Thanks again, Jogger, for the offer. Regards, Bruce.

Royce, Don't panic! I still have many more propellors than impellers! Jogger.... I have some pix which I will scan this weekend and link to in this thread. They may not be perfect but should provide (hopefully!) sufficient info for your needs. Bruce

Here we go, Jogger! I managed to get my mate in Sydney to find a pic of the Airlines of Western Australia F-28......a nice livery and quite rare, as this airline was taken over by Ansett and the subsequent livery wasn't nearly as attractive as this. Bob provided me with additional info in that the grey shown on the fuselage underside included the wing roots but not the wings themselves...they were natural aluminium. He is unsure if the registration also appeared on the wings but thinks it did, on the upper surface of the starboard wing and under the port wing. However, as we have no way of being 100% sure, don't worry about it. I'll pop pix of the other liveries here on the weekend. Regards, Bruce.

Thanks for the pic Bruce. I have already started started working on it.... Heavens! You are keen! That tail logo is mirrored on the other side, not reversed ...... if you know what I mean. The red bit goes forward and the green bits point back exactly as you see on the port side. Regards, Bruce

I'd like to have repaints of the default Lockheed Vega. The greatest thing would be to have a paintkit of sorts created for us and we could all contribute.
I have about 20 colorful schemes for the Vega.
WDYT?
