I think I am over my head on this one. Trying to repaint the default Lockheed Vega to look like a Standard Oil Aviation Eagle Vega is not easy. Trying to figure out how Microsoft mapped the textures is not easy and I haven't been able to figure out how to get rid of the airplane ID NR-7952.

Well I feel pretty stupid, editing decal_vega_5b.bmp worked. I don't know why I didn't look in the file to begin with.

Looking good, did you do all that work by hand?

Looking good, did you do all that work by hand? Yes, but I used what pictures I could find as guides.

My sincere apologies for taking so long to get this out. My private time seems to have evaporated ...Teaching college and being a single dad takes its tolls in big chunks! As does discovery a rival hobby that seems to be becokoning more and more... Anyway. I've uploaded a page on the Beaon Virtual Modeler's Page that offers all the photos, prints, etc that I have on the Stanavo Vega. I hope these are not too late! Again, I apologize.
