I'm looking for someone to do a repaint of a WOP B-17G in the markings of the 15th Air Force, 2nd Bombardment Group, 429th Bomb Squadron.
This is the squadron my Dad was in while stationed at Amendola, Italy during WWII and while I'm (still) in the process of completing the B-17 Tampa to Amendola flight/mission, I thought it would be great to do a repaint of the actual B-17 that they ditched in the Adriatic while returning from a mission over Munich.
I have a couple of B/W pictures of the planes, as well as a diagram with the correct markings of the 429th. It is basically just the tail and rudder that need to be repainted with their colors, markings, and tail number.
I would enjoy doing it myself, but do not have the knowledge nor the software to a professional job. I will be happy to pay for anyone's time to do this, as it would be very much appreciated.

If you mean the FS9 version, I can do that, I've done a few Wop B17s in the past.

That would be great, Windrunner!! Yes, it would be the FS9 version - B-17G bare metal skin. Let me know how to send you the photos, diagram, and description/tail number, etc. Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D
