Could someone do a repaint on the default fs9 j3 cub but in the yellow with the black lighting. Looking for a used look some gas and oil stains , paint chipped off the cowling at spots, missing wheel covers and the cub bear put on the tail fin ,found these repaints to give anyone ideas what I am looking for in the repaint. Thank you ,Joe [ftp][/ftp] [ftp][/ftp]

Why not just use the Lyon's FS9 Model. Comes preweathered! Rgds: Jeff

Well as much as I like Bills cub and my dad having owned a j3 flitfire cub NC1776" which you can download here at the old hanger "and having flown real cubs over the years I don't like sitting in the front seat while I am flying, Just looking for the yellow in the first picture but with the black lighting (little bit faded look)and the cowling having some paint missing like in the second picture , some gas and oil stains .It would be great if there was a way to do Bills cub so you could fly it from the back seat ,seen that comment on other forums .I have times were I just fly alone, thanks for your input Joe

If you mean just doing the plus or minus on the zoom it's not the same plus I am looking at 20feet of wing when looking out the side .If you mean opening up the cfg file I have not a qlue how to do that .

Hey Joe, Here's the back seat in Bill's weathered Cub... change the view in the aircraft.cfg (open it in notepad) to.. [Views] eyepoint=-6.7,-0.05,1.50

You can also get ACTIVECAMERA, a very useful addon module, it lets you move free around virtual cockpits, simulates the movement of the pilot head and other interesting tricks. I cannot fly without it.

Thats sounds kool wind were can I get that active camera, and I still would like a repaint on the fs9 cub . even if someone could put some oil and gas stains and the cub bear on the tail would be great they would not have to fade out the paint . Joe

Joe, do a search at the usual sites (Flightsim and Avsim) and you'll get it. You can download the Demo, fully operational in the Seattle area only, so you can have an idea of what it is. Believe me, I am a happy Active Camera user since the old FS2002 days.
About the Cub, I don't volunteer to do that repaint because I've never been very "in touch" witn default planes. But, if anybody steps ahead...
