Tom, I recall diverting to BGR and the fixed base operator we used brought a box of (I think the names correct) pastries from Franks(?) Bakery. That only happen one time, but on another divert, I recall asking, but the agent claimed he knew nothing about it. Is there a Franks Bakery? If so, I highly recommend them - from memories past. SD

SD I'm not sure Frank's is still open but you are correct, just about the best pastries this side of Quebec City. I remember when I returned to Bangor during the time I lived in New York, that was one of my first destinations for real chocolate donuts. (NOT Glazed donuts with chocolate frosting, but actual genuine chocolate flavored donuts) It was close to where I live so I'll take a look in the next 2-3 days and see if its still there.
