Oh no!!!! Lynn & Bill Lyons are retiring. What are we going to do? Without a doubt they are the best things to happen to the flight sim community since Microsoft.
Lynn & Bill Lyons Thank you for your contribution to flight simming. The Challenger and the Tripacer are my favorite planes. I like low and slow. Because of that Silver Wings has greatly enhanced my virtual flying time. I think that I have almost everything that you have made.
Even though I seldom get involved online for several years there are several sites that I visit almost weekly they are, www.windrfters.com. www.theoldhanger.com. www.avsim.com. www.fsd-international.com. www.carenado.com. www.lagosim.com.
I study everything at these sites and use about 15 gigabytes of downloaded addon’s that I have received from these sites. Since 1998 I probably spend about one to two hours per day in the virtual world of MS flight simming. I believe that may qualify my as being a flight sim nut.
Right now I’m putting my daughter and wife through college “Ouch!” Because of this I’m unable to afford a real plane at this time. When this obligation is finished I do plan to get a sport plane Please check it out the plane I want at www.sonex-ltd.com. A virtual version of this plane is at www.flightsimmodels.com. It’s not the quality that is found in Bill’s work but I still like it. I live near Oshkosh WI and I attend the EAA Airventure air show almost every year www.eaa.org/. If there are any other flight sim nuts out there that plan to attend this please write to me I would love to meet you and talk about our passion of airplanes and flight simming. royndeb1@juno.com
