I had a feedder on a steel post..he bent the post downwards and destroyed the feedder. My wife kept telling me to go get the feedder before he wrecked it. I didn't go... and he wrecked it!

Good Lord!! Fancy walking out the back door and seeing that thing hanging from your clothesline! We think we have problems with 'roos coming into the suburbs looking for grass and water in the very dry conditions and although some big males can get a bit aggro, they usually shoot through pretty quickly. But I'd rather face down a big Eastern Grey than one of your little friends! Bruce

I suspect weather conditions here in Maine this year have made the bears more willing to enter occupied areas. In some areas, they congregate in trash dumping areas as well. For me though, at 4 am walking to work and meeting a moose on a downtown street is a lot more terrifying.

On the other hand, how'd you like to pull your chocks some early morning and find a Mojave Green coiled up under them? Sometimes we forget that we weren't here first.

Sorry if I misled anyone but I used the pictures to emphasize the bear that did take my feeder like I said in my post #47. Again, sorry if I misled anyone.

You really get those rascals climbing and stumbling around your house, or should I say "Bear feeder" ? ;D Best wildlife I get here in a city is ducks! Yes, I do have my own pet ducks! They are fun but medium-high maintenance I guess you could say.
