Again, this year, members of the Howard Aircraft Foundation, commonly known as the 'Howard Club', gathered at 3CU, for a few days prior to flying on to the EAA-AirVenture. (3CU-Cable Union Airport-Perod Field, Cable, Wisconsin) 13 Howard DGA 15's this year. My favorite 'new' Howard this year. A nice 'surprise' this year. Spent several enjoyable hours taking photos of these beautiful classics and chatting with the pilots and their 'crews'. I've posted the rest of my pics at Photobucket. Howard fly-in. The Howard Club home page. Includes articles on Ben Howard and his DGA (Damn Good Airplane) line of aircraft. Dave

Great pictures Dave, Thanks. Last year, 1905 Flyer, Bookman & I were in Dayton for the big air show and we saw this beautiful Howard. I think I just saw the same one among your pics

Now this is something new to me, I have never heard of this aircraft. It is a beautiful aircraft has anyone modeled on for FS?

Indeed it is, and my favorite of the 'executive' style ac of the day.
Sadly I have never been able to find a model for FS8-9.
There was a Howard DGA-6 "Mister Mulligan" for '98.
I thought I saw one mention of the dga-15 in the works for FS9 in an early post here a TOH, but have never heard of or found more on it.

1905 Flyer started the one pictured above but the real world interfered as it often does. I have no idea if it will ever be completed

Beautifull reunion! it's amazing to see how many of these "old" birds are still alive and flying in the 21st century.

If I could find someone that would be willing to complete the project, I'd be more than happy to turn over the source files that I've done so far. I ran into problems when I began working on the interior and had to give it up due to real life work. One of the last things I was adding was an engine mount which I never completed. I wonder if Spad54 would be interested? The shot below is how she looks today. Paul

Paul, I really wish someone will want to go on with this project, hopefully the challenge will motivate them!
