Hi Henry, It is best to use the CDs and then install the patch so you get the benefits of 9.1. Best Bill

We have tried the 9.1 patch twice, and had very bad luck with it!! FS9 runs on our machine great without it!!
If we do a clean install on a different HD and install GWS will it work without the patch??
We don't want to just make a copy of our present FS9, it is over 30gbs now!!

That should work fine. and if you rename fs9.exe in that new install to fsgw.exe it will make its own cfg

Just finished your Plan B install and applied the 9.1 patch with no problems other than bumping into the default flight with a plane I had deleted. Easily solved by dragging a copy over from the other install. My question - can I install the FSGenesis terrain mesh with Golden Wings or will it mess up the scenery you've created?
Many many thanks for the new toy.

I have full world wide FS Genesis mesh installed. (I have it all in regional folders on a seperate hard drive and heave it activated in the scenery library in both FS9 and FSGW There is no problem in FSGW that does not exist in FS9.
