I'm really enjoying Golden Wings. Install went smoothly, etc. I still need to pose a question. I want to get rid of the red brake message. I know how to do this for Fs9.cfg. Simply add Show_brake_message=0 under [SIM] to the file. My question is: Where is the config file for Golden Wings. I attempted to follow the instructions and renamed a copy of Fs9.cfg --- FsGW.cfg. When Golden Wings starts-up; however, it reverts back to the various settings and previous default flight along with the brake message. I can live with this as the program is really great but, if possible, would like to get rid of the message.

Randy, you need to rename the FS9.exe in your FSGW install to FSGW.exe, then it will make its own fsgw.cfg You can edit that the same way as the original FS9.cfg

Interesting footnote, however. I made a couple other changes in the file and one of them caused the program to lock-up at 77% weather like someone reported in another post. Anyway, I took out [TableFog=0 ] which solved the problem. Now everything works great. Golden Wings is now my flight sim of choice..... Another great big thank you to Bill, Lynn, and all involved.
