Hi Bill and Lynn Thanks for the great idea. I have a question before I start the installation. I will use method B. ( I have a large FS9 installed). Can the new FS2004 CD's installation damage or conflict with the registry.? I say so because, there is already one copy of the FS2004 in the registry. Thanks David

Hi David, welcome to the hangar. No the registry will not be damaged IF you follow instructions carefully. First rename your current install, then install normally (it will have the same name etc that is already in the registry.) Then rename the new install to FSGW or GW3 or whatever and rename the original back to the original name. Now your registry is exactly the same as it was. The default install is in the registry, FSGW is not.
Now you can install the Golden Wings distribution into the FSGW folder. Please read the instructions very carefully. They are complete.
When you are finished there will still be only one FS9 in the registry.

David I used Method B and following the instructions to the letter I had NO Problems with a new install, also I installed GW to another Drive than FS9 is on. One thing though if u are using a custom flight in FS9 as a default change it back to the FS9 default before installing GW,once everything is done then you can change your FS9 one to what ever u want.
