AD streams and railroads look pretty good in my FSGW FS Genesis landclass is included in the distribution. Thanks to Justin Tyme The freeware lakes and streams is an iffy proposition. We don't recommend it. I have used the rivers, lakes and shorelines from Ultimate Terrain with some success but it was a lot of work to get it right. CAREFUL install of FreeFlow stuff could be good. But we can't give you any guarantees for any of those as they really alter the terrain. Mesh however should not be a problem.

I just finished installing Ultimate Terrain - USA. I turned off ALL of the roads, however. They would ruin the experience. Most of the rivers, lakes, and railroads should be fairly close, at least they are to my local area of flight.
The Missouri River, will be inaccurate, as many of the dams were not completed until after this period. I know of a few lakes on Colorado as well that were not yet in existence. But over all it is nice to allow for navigation purposes.
Basically it will be a matter of taste. Mesh looks great too.

Hi,
Thanks.
I figured that USA roads would be a no go because of the highways.
I wasn't sure about the landclass.
I am surprised about the lakes and shoreline, (I missed named it in my last post), not being good but that Freeflow may be. In the New England area where I live I didn't notice any real difference between the freeflow stuff and the lakes and shoreline package.
But….
I will heed the advice and maybe only go with the American data package if even that. I have not created my install of GW yet and will have to check it out stock.

Jon Let me rephrase my comments about the lakes and streams package... I assume you meant the one from FS Freeware? If yes I have read many negative comments but have no experience with it myself. I described it as iffy for those reasons If we are talking about something else altogether then I have no idea. But if you can point me to it i will test it. In any case, other than saying no to the roads and you don't need it to the landclass... I wouldn't automatically rule anything out
