Morning all!
Great start to the holiday weekend. The dog threw up all over the carpet. So I got that all cleaned up and decided I'd put the Down Under landclass in GW3. I printed the instructions and then started unzipping the landclass-gw folder. At precisely this moment one of the cats jumped up square onto the keyboard. This created instant havoc, and I'm still trying to clean up the mess. What I got when I went to the folder that was unzipped here is what I found:
24serf 24serf(1).bgl 24serf(2).bgl 24serf(3).bgl
As a precaution I thought I'd unzip the landclass-gw folder again, but to a different location. This is what I got that time:
AU-LC-GW.bgl Norfolk-LC-GW.bgl NZ-LC-GW.bgl PNG-LC-GW-bgl
I opened the FSGW3\Scenery\BASE\Scenery folder and the second set of .bgl's seemed to match what was already in the sim folder so I copied them to the sim folder. I haven't started the sim yet as I don't want to take a chance on screwing up what has so far worked perfectly.
Question: Are the AU..etc .bgl's in fact the genuine files? I think they must be because I unzipped the landclass-gw a third time to yet a different location and got the same result as the second time. I have no idea what happened to screw up the first unzip when the cat jumped on the keyboard. Ominous start to the weekend, eh?
Thanks,
Phil
