Thanks for all your help, Tom. It seems to be working just fine with a few minor anomolies:
1. the coastlines (at least at KJAX going to bermuda) are very "blocky" now...there are no curves to the land/water interface. Is everyone else seeing this?
2. Is there a way to reduce the ATC's "minimum climb vertical speed"? It keeps asking all these vintage AI airplanes to climb faster and I'm sure they are doing their best!
Like I said...minor stuff, so far. All in all a great addition to FS.

Hi, Do you have some other Florida scenery in GW? Otherwise can't see any problem in that area.. I tried to come up with a way to kill the atc completely so people wouldn't be tempted to listen to it but couldn't without crashing the program. Just hope folks know that there wasn't any atc in the 1930s and turn it off under the sounds menu.

Hi Bill.
I do have Florida scenery but it is disabled in FSGW3 so it shouldn be a problem? I will verify this, however. The only other thing I have is Justin's FSG mesh for all the US...this shouldn't cause a problem?
I was thinking that there would be a config file, somewhere, which would allow the user to change the minimum VS to prevent ATC from harping...but, as you said...there was no ATC back then! Problem solved...turn it off.
I will get back to the forum on anything I find regarding the coastlines.
Thanks for all your contributions to the FS community.

Vic If you have FreeFlow Florida or any other scenery that alters the coastline, and have disabled it, you may get blocky coastline. You should either enable it or restore the default and remove it. Mesh will not cause this problem.
