I uninstall it completly and go to bed. Then 3-4 days later i start over and often it works perfectly the first time. I've stayed out of this because I don't use ExcBuilder. I make all my excludes in Airport for Windows so I can compile excludes and place objects at the same time.

A suggestion... do you still have the regular fs9 installed and somewhat operational? Is what you are trying to exclude somewhat simular in both ... example from my dealing with excbuilder... as like you it does't at tis juncture work in W3 ... is DCA - Wasington national airport ... while in W3 the terminal has a backdated look, it pretty much occupies the same physical space... so I just move the exlude files I created in fs9 over to W3 and no buildings ... my problem was that after finding more photos of the Maint Terminal, I needed to exclude one more section, but in my joy of W3 ... got ride of FS9 ... so, the heck with it... but if you still have both... compare between the two and if it is even about the same in area... create the exclude in FS9 and then transfer it over.

I just un-installed and re-installed the program. It still is not functioning properly. Everything seems to be going fine until I get to the complile part. Then I get this error message which does not make any sense. Top Left (North/West = N32*55.12' W86*37.19' Bottom Right (South/East = N32*48.93' W86*36.80' Until I can find an easier to use program, I'm just going to ignore the buildings.... Over and Out... This may not be the same problem but this program drove me crazy until I learned what I was doing wrong. If you are excluding and area using the overhead view, be sure to press the spacebar to orient north as up, then mark your areas. See if this helps.

Randy,
looks like you have Minimum and Maximum values mixed up a tad (See the first line on your screenshot). However, I am not sure why it complains about the latitude values which seem ok? I would suggest you try to swap the longitude values and compile again.
Regards, Jure

Hi Jure, I already switched all those around with no luck. I can now say that I have successfully removed the items I wanted moved, however. Didn't do it with EXCBuild, though. I did a little web surfing and discovered that you can exclude all kinds of this with the program I already know a little about....FSSC. It is now 4:09 a.m. and I have to leave for work in about 2 hours. Boy! am I glad I only have one lecture today. The rest of the day is office hours and on-campus hours. Randy
