If, like me, you use Ultimate Terrain for coastlines, railroads, and streams in Golden Wings, and you've installed Golden Hawaii, you may have some phantom coastlines showing up in Hawaii. To remove them, go to FSGW3\Scenery\UTUSA\scenery, and move (don't copy) the files shown below to a backup folder. Name the backup folder something like Backup for Golden Hawaii, and put it in the FSGW3\Scenery\UTUSA folder. I haven't included the road files because I have them disabled in Golden Wings, but if you're using them, you would need to move the "RD" files with the same suffixes as well. (Just so you know: I didn't figure this out on my own. By a happy coincidence, there was a thread in the Ultimate Terrain forum about default coastlines that weren't eliminated in the first issue of Ultimate Terrain USA.)
Oh, and by the way, congratulations Bill and Lynn on another wonderful contribution to our hobby!
Best, Ken
These are the Ultimate Terrain files that need to be moved:

Hi Tom,
I should have made this clear in the post above, but the fix I've described does not alter Golden Wings or Golden Hawaii at all. What it does do is disable the Ultimate Terrain files that interfere with Bill's work so that Golden Hawaii looks the way that Bill intended for it to look. Similarly, the "road" files that I said were disabled are the Ultimate Terrain roads.
Best, Ken
