Hi,
Someone said it would be nice not to have the planes go over a ceiling that was realistic for the era. I have worked the Traffic030528.bgl so that no of the planes exceed 10,000 feet. Really wasn't hard (all 20,000 or so) I used excel and a find replace. Then edited out the 'bugs'. I've used it in my FSGW and I haven't noticed anything strange, except there is more traffic. If I knew how to share it with you all I would kindly do so. Of course I didn't fly up to 28,000 to find out if any planes were lurking up there. My Classic Ryan won't go that high!
Speaking of the Ryan, is there a version that has a pilot in it. It looks a bit un-nerving to watch your landing and no one is in the cockpit!

Sounds like good work Wrayer. How big is the file? We have some upload space and we intend to use it for such like. If it's relatively small you could e.mail it to me and I'll get it uploaded for the rest to download.

Roger,
Thanks for the reply. The file is the file from the world scenery folder and is 12.6 megs (large). If you can handle it I will email it.
Thanks Tom for the tip on the Ryan.

I don't know if this was one of the threads that Tom was talking about in his Read Me Read Me Read Me, but if it is I am sorry if I tread on someone's toes.
I would make my revision available to anyone who would like it. It is an edit of the Traffic030528.bgl file in FS9 for GW3. If your mail box can take a 12 meg upload, let me know and I will send it to you.

Wrayer,
I'll PM you my email address, thanks. I also can host it for you and share the link, if needed.
Edit: ... if no one is against it.

Hi Wrayer, Thanks very much! Your work is appreciated! I can't take an email that large but if you could store it somewhere where I can download it the file I would like to include it in the first GW update. Possible?, Best, Bill

Another way to limit the AI traffic to aircraft of your chosing is to edit the flight plans with this: 1% for the airplanes you are interested in flying around with you. I also used find and replace function for this. [Example] AC#64,N83608,1%,24Hr,VFR,14:45:25,TNG15:44:18,030,R,0000,KTMA,17:54:44,18:09:44,030,R,0000,KTMA
Then reduce your traffic in the flight sim itself to around two or three percent.
I've done that to have mostly local flights around the area where I fly most of the time.
