This is a great "flying" airplane. I flew this Aero for over an hour late last night - just couldn't land it - it just wants to fly and fly and fly and fly. I have never had such a feeling of pure "flight" in any other aircraft in FS as I have with this one.
I'm not sure if it is the shape of the wings as you sit there looking out that gives you that feeling or the flight dynamics, power, or something else - can't put a finger on it. But it is a pure delight to just soar wherever and however you want to fly - incredible!!

Hi Dan,
What speed are you flying the approach? The airplane stalls, power off, at 100 km/h in my puter. So you need to make the approach at 1.3x100=130 km/h. This bird seems to like it if you use this speed almost down to the ground. Slowly pull the nose up when over the end of the runway at about five or 6 feet agl, and it will bleed off airpseed in a hurry and flop. Seems to make nice smooth landings in my puter that way anyhow.
Cheers,
Phil

I think it was known for being difficult to land...

Actually, Phil I was able to land it - in my post I was making reference to the fact that I couldn't land it because I was having too much "fun" flying it and really didn't want to land it. (after re-reading my post it did sound just like the way you read it - my fault).
But, thanks for the information anyway - you are right that it likes to land with some speed to it, which puts me midway down the runway before it finally touches down. I will try your suggestion and pull up the nose a little earlier and let it bleed off a little more airspeed then what I've been doing - sounds like a good technique - Thanks, Dan
…it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D
