Well, this falls firmly into the "gee, imagine that" catagory ... found that with ez-scenery when you are flying you can add scenery ... adding things on the fly... LOL. Now I can populate the tributaries with river traffic ... depending on size of the waters and location to things that generate traffic, as I fly. The current Amazon project involves “populating” the lesser traveled portions of the river and its tributaries .. Thus creating more places for smaller aircraft to be traveling to and from. Dale

Maybe it's just me, but I prefer to see ships moving. To do this in FS9, you had to set up AFCADs for ships to use. If we can get a clue on how FS-X works, it may be easier than that.

Haha, that works too I guess!
I haven't thought about that, but then again I haven't needed to populate an area with certain objects.
That will add more life to your scenery for sure.

Let us not forget, we can make the ship appear to be moving by adding a wake effect to the model!

Nice shots. It seems like the beginning of putting ships at sea .A nice touch. As far as noting a moving ship, only the wake is the telltale fact of movement.Even with that judging speed ,has got to be difficult.Without any wake, moving or even anchored at the sea, most objects just seem to be floating out there.Mocat is correct, its the wake.Wave actions as we know are always seen on objects in the sea,,Beach's,rocks and ships.Shadows too are important.Ya need a brush and paint!Thanx Dale.....Vin
