If this had been an actual emergency, you would have been instructed to tune to 290.0 Mhz.

Hi Gang,
Well, I have stopped playing around with FSX, and got back to work. I have created a new Mckinley Airport near Canton, Ohio, actually it was built almost in the city proper, but at that time the area was the "Boon Docks". It was located on Mahoning Rd. NE, and was the major airport for Canton until Canton-Akron Airport was built in the late 40s, after the big war.
What I am looking for here is for some serious testers, especially the lower end machine folks. I am not sure I am applying the techniques correctly, and need a few guinea pigs. I need info on overall installation, runway alignments, overall field scenery ambience, radio frequency checks.
The NDB there is at 290.0Mhz, the runways have no start points, and no taxiways, as of yet. I am trying to find out if I am on the right track with the tools I am using. It has been quite some time since I have done any scenery in FS9, and need some input. AirCoaster is gone on vacation, and I need a little help here, thank you.
The file can be had at McKinley Airport, it is at John's 3D Workshop website, but remember that website is still under developement. The installation is very simple, and is the same as many other installs from the Old Hangar. Find the ZIP file, extract it to the main FSGW directory(folder), and it will create the folders as needed as long as you "use folder names". For those using the Windows XP zip tool it is pretty straight forward.
Some of the objects used are from MoCat's EZ-Scenery files, and you will need to have the Old Hangar scenery files installed for the fence objects to show, and there is a refueling station just to the north of the local gas station located on the field. The runways are at 1/19, 4/22, and 16/34. No Old Ohio Airfields AI is available at this time.
If you have any problems, contact me here at this thread. Remember, this is a rough draft of the field, and selecting the airport from the Go To Airport menu will place you in the middle of the field. I will add the start points in a later update. This test is just to make sure the field is what is required of FSGW fans, and to test the delivery process.
Thanks a bunch gang, hope to hear from you soon.
