WoW is right!! This will be incredible!!!!!!!!! That paint scheme looks great, especially with those polished props. But, take your time, I'm having too much fun with the Travel Air 6000 ;D What a workhorse she is . . . Dan …it’s great being a kid again – without the glue! ;D

Hey Guys,
The Travel Air is great! I've been flying it between Ford Airport in Detriot, Michigan and Walker Airfield in Windsor. I've just about completed Woodard Field in Le Roy, New York and that will me the first three stops on the 1931 National Air Tour will be complete. I'm looking forward to having the Stinson available to fly in the recreation of the tour. Only 24 airports to go!
Anyway keep up the great work.

Just curious, (For my own info, and future work on the scenery), have any of you noticed Shakun yet? ;D The Stinson Tri-motor will be nice! Definitely will be my second tri-motor.

Kobbe, I've started almost all my flights out of Shakun, both runway and the inlet. It's great and very convenient to have both right next to each other. The layout is great and the scenary objects are well placed along with the special effects, i.e., fireplace smoke, lighted barrels, docks, taxiway, etc. Definitely adds to the overall ambiance, especially in the winter. ;D
That being said, and I'm not sure what is causing it, since I recently installed FS Genesis, but I did notice a couple of scenery items that are not formatting correctly. One is the runway on Kiukpalik Island when taking the "Flight to Kiukpalik". It seems to be part pavement/tar/gravel and part dirt with a portion of the pavement extending out into the water. Only the center of both ends is dirt. The second is the runway at Garibaldi Village - most of it is sunken into a deep deep ravine in the middle of the runway, so can't land there.
I'm sure, in both of these cases it is FS Genesis and compatibility issues, but not sure why? I was going to send an email to Golden Age Simulations, but since you brought it up . . .
I haven't flown any of the other pre-made flights, so can't comment on them at this point. I don't know who made up the flights themselves, but they are great, challenging, and very much Alaska.
As noted, the scenery, both at Shaken and Kiukpalik is well done for that area of Alaska.

Ok I will have to look in to that mesh compatibility problem, I thought I had it covered when I updated it to work with Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska. Updated shore line information with the FS Genesis mesh will ruin the Kiukpalik field though. It can be fixed, but I am lacking FS Genesis for that area so I can't fix it. Not even Keith's sceneries ensure 100% compatibility with all meshes, though. I did all of the scenery design and flights for the TA package. I'm glad you find the flights challenging but fun, and the scenery nice as well. If you don't know, there is an approach map for Shakun along with an area map including the 3 airfields I made. Anyway, thanks for the input! -Kobbe
