I am still installing some new files that I have not had a chance to look at, from the posts and screenshots GWMail is one I want to try. After noting the comments here I did some cross-checking of the files I found that the KOGA directory is duplicated on both the route3 and route4 zip files. The files in the scenery in both zips relates to Searle.bgl. As a result I do not think that renaming the KOGA directory from zip 4 to KOMA will function. It looks like a minor packing error that skipped the field occurred. All that is needed is a quick pack of the missing directory and an upload to the web. Thanks to Bill and Phil for all of the hard work involved. See Phil's message directly above yours. Sorry IO have been derelict in fixing the source download. My work computer has been unavailable for 4 days.

I'm sure Tom will be making a full update when he finds the time. Until then, I will leave the KOMA.zip download active. Terry has reported the entire file updated at his site but just grab the one earlier in this thread and you won't need to go for the big download. Thanks again for the kind comments. PS - Don't forget to add the KOMA folder to the scenery library after installing it.

Phil Cayton and Bill Dick have released their 1921-1936 Air Mail package for Golden Wings here at The Old Hangar. We are proud to offer it here as long as the bandwidth holds LOL. There are 6 files plus a 7th if you have Lago's FSE. Terry Hansen at Virtual Pilot has the Air Mail pack available in one 75.3 meg file here: 67.38.117.12/pafiledb/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=501Thanks Terry Have fun! That is really nice that it is broken up into 7 different parts. I will have to get that. I do have one question... What is FSE? Jim

Jim [RADICAL OPINION WARNING] FSE (Flight Sim Enhancer) is a program sold by Lago, a company that used to be a leader in FS addons. Sadly Greed has been elected CEO and all their talented developers and employees have moved on to companies with an interest in their customers. Lago promised much with FSE but delivered a flawed, buggy unfinished program which they are unable and unwilling to support. If you have not already been ripped off, avoid it like the plague. [/RADICAL OPINION WARNING] Ambient sounds are nice but not worth the purchase price.

Thanks Tom, I won't need to download the 7th part then! Ambient sounds are fun... like the ones in some of Bills flights! Birds chirping, horns beeping! Jim

There's a neat little freeware program called FS Background Sounds, or something like that, that provides rustic background sounds whenever you're on the ground without the engine running. There are different sounds for daytime and nighttime. I don't recall where I found it but it probably came from AvSim of FlightSim.

You are right Mick :
Avsim or FlightSim (November 2003) title : Sounds For FS Scenery (3460kb) file name : sounds.zip This program implements sounds in the FS. There are two sound sets: One for night flying with owls etc and one for day flying with birds. The Sounds are activated by stopping the engine. This program uses FSUIPC and the necessary key is provided by the program. authors : José Oliveira and Jorge Filipe
