www.theoldhangar.com/Fitchburg.zipFitchburg MA around 1930. Very simple old-style grass field, nothing fancy, rural surroundings. A change from all these big-city airports.

Hello, Sim Do you supposed we're distantly related (I'm "Simanaitis"...) Thanks for Fitchburg. I went to undergraduate school at Worcester Poly. It was donkey years ago (graduated in '65), but I recall we used to go to a restaurant at Fitchburg Airport (??) to get steamers on Friday nights. The regulars would belt out old standards as we all enjoyed the ambience. Thanks for letting me return. Cordially, Dennis

And thanks to YOU for letting me use those old FS98 models in the East Boston scenery! (Luckily I got them converted before that hopelessly snakebit conversion utility quit working again.)

Yeah, it my neck of the woods, so I think I'll fly out of here often. I have created some AI traffic out of nearby Marlboro (9B1) which is 3 mi. from my home, and also Sterling MA. Nice to have a period airfield so close.
