I must be doing this all wrong. Used the link and went to the site. Found the ad. Neat. Did not find the free Spit. Found the "sign up for members club" link, followed same. Got the old Site Not Found message. Since the ad says 5 March, I'm going to take a flier and guess this all starts (rather than ends) in six hours and something. Otherwise I need a steer, 'cause I LOST AGAIN!!

Jim, You should see a screen load with a picture of R.J. and a choice of download Fs2002 or Fs2004. It maybe that it's detecting the date on your pc and won't work unless it says 5th March 2006. You could always move your clock on a day ;D

No joy. No picture of RJ anywhere (he's the guy that looks like Leslie Howard, right?), and the clock keeps ticking down toward midnight, my time zone. I guess that means the computer is smarter than I am (no surprise there!). On the plus side, I snagged the free Seafire, so I'm still ahead of the game.

As it is supplied as a freebie, surely there wouldn't be any objection to an individual making it available to those who miss out on the 24-hour period?

Where are you, dorsai? I was where you are until midnight LOCAL time, after which, as they say, all became clear.

No, Roger, I don't appear to have Macromedia. Should I be looking for it? I do have two or three other media players.

Same here... all I get is the intro screen with the timer counting down. Guess it was not meant to be for some of us.

Don't understand that at all. It came up for me at midnight PST and is still up. It also says the clock isn't ticking, so maybe it'll run longer than promised. Good luck and keep trying.
