For those who are interested, Justin's plans call for 9.8 meter US Mesh, 19 m Canadian and 38 m Mexican when North America is finished. FSX may be more game than sim but it will be one beautiful game.

Tantalizing Tom but from my experience with Justin's Hawaii I'd say that a 9.8 m mesh as nice as it is might tax any present computer too much and deteriorate the framerate if yoy want all the other niceties...

I agree. The advantage to the FSX engine is multi-LOD mesh which can be adjusted inside the sim to suit the situation and/or equipment. The new FSG mesh will be compiled the same way to work with that engine. Still, it will be an extra hit on some machines. I have some downloaded but not installed. I'll give a first hand report as soon as I can.
